When the environment changes,

After more than 15 years teaching elementary students, I became convinced that the environment in which children learn matters just as much as what they are taught.
When children are known well, challenged at the right level, and given room to think, move, question, and grow, something powerful happens: confidence builds, curiosity deepens, and learning starts to feel meaningful.
That belief became Legacy Foundations Academy, a teacher-led private elementary school designed around strong academics, a remarkably small class, and the kind of personal attention that is difficult to replicate in a larger setting.

After more than 15 years teaching elementary students, I realized many children didn't need more pressure. They needed the right environment.
What your child's school day actually looks like
A shorter school day doesn't mean less learning at our teacher-led private elementary school. It means learning is handled during the school day, so evenings can belong to families again.
