For more than fifteen years, I’ve helped elementary students build strong academic foundations, confidence, and a love of learning. Today, I lead Legacy Foundations Academy, a teacher-led private elementary school in Bulverde serving Grades 1–3.
I was honored to earn the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Exemplary Teacher designation, which recognizes strong student growth and effective classroom instruction. I’m also a Texas-certified elementary educator with training in the Science of Reading, ESL, and Gifted & Talented education.
As both a teacher and a mother, I’ve learned that children thrive when they are truly known, supported, challenged, and treated with dignity each day.
That is why I created Legacy Foundations Academy.
This is not simply a smaller version of a traditional school. It is the school I wanted for my own children, shaped by more than fifteen years in the classroom and built around strong academics, meaningful relationships, and an experienced teacher who truly knows each student.
Why "Legacy"?
Legacy Foundations Academy is named in honor of my father, whose belief in education shaped my life long before I understood its impact.
He believed education could create independence, opportunity, and the ability to build a meaningful life. Looking back, I realize he wasn’t just investing in my education. He was investing in every child I would one day teach.
Becoming a mother gave that legacy new meaning. I began thinking not only about what children learn, but about the kind of school experience I wanted for my own family.
Legacy Foundations Academy is where those two stories meet.

Legacy Foundations Academy is intentionally limited to seven students so the classroom can remain focused, personal, and academically strong.
The goal is to grow carefully over time while protecting the qualities families value most: excellent teaching, a calm learning environment, strong relationships, and meaningful academic growth.
